Asked by Brian May 01, 2016 at 03:13 AM about the 2008 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so it's hard to explain. I have an 08 impala ls with the
3.5 in it. And I have been having a few issues with it. 1) is
the low oil pressure stop engine lights keeps coming on
and 2) I got the codes read and it says transmission clutch
solenoid stuck in the off position. How can I fix this?
Please help

I have an 06 Chevy Impala told the same thing I went to Walmart for $39 bought a car diagnostic and code reader together that way it tells you right then and there what's wrong with it and I'm telling you you'll save a bunch of money you just plug it in and it does its thing mine was the throttle body sensor

I want to leave this to everyone that has a Chevy Impala mine is a 06 police Impala turbo and I spent so much money on stuff that wasn't wrong that mechanics told me I finally went and got the car diagnostic and code reader at Walmart for $39 the best $39 I spent because all these questions is probably not your transmission a lot of it is the throttle body sensor it will mess up a lot of stuff up and people you need to get some sort of body spray and clean out the other side of the throttle body so anyone if we replace transmissions in the Impalas just get your own card Diagnostic and code reader and that's what it says on the package it's one machine one little machine
