Car overheating and bubbling really bad in the Overflow
If it is bubbling and it is overheating then you
probably have air in your system you have to take
the radiator cap off turn your heat on defrost and
let it run when the fluid goes down further you'll
have to add more antifreeze and then take it for a
drive make sure the fluid is going through the
heater core and if it is go back home let it sit and
do the same process over again if it's still
overheating then you still have air in your lines do
the process again that's what I did and it worked

You have a cracked head! Go to a reputable mechanic and have him check the compression on each one of the cylinders....You're looking at a 1300.00 or so job. if you find out for sure that this is what it is there are products on the market that can fix this for less than a hundred...
if you have air in your system it is because the coolant is leaking into one or more cylinders!
Sorry for the bad news, but that is what your problem is.
You can pull the plugs yourself...If any or more than one is wet with coolant on it, that is where that coolant is coming in the cylinder from the cracked head..
Changing the thermostat and water pump will not fix a cracked head...
Typically driving a car for about roughly 5 miles and she will start to overheat with a cracked head
Do you have white smoke coming out of your tailpipe when she starts to overheat?
Sounds like exhaust in cooling system if you get bubbles in over-flow tank while running engine and this is not upon filling the cooling system while empty, as air that needs bleed out will get stuck in a portion of the cooling system that will have to perform bleed procedure to get it out. If it just one day starts bubbling like when sitting at a red light or stop sign after going down the road then its a exhaust passing threw head gasket into cooling system. See if it comes back. Let us know.
Test for exhaust in coolant.
Question is why did it overheat, are fans working, bad thermostat and how did it loose anti-freeze, these are closed systems and do not require coolant on a regular basis unless its leaking somewhere. With exhaust in coolant you may not have white smoke from exhaust. It will overheat.
You do not just one day have air in the cooling system unless it was opened up like a thermostat or water pump changed or bad cap, so where did the air come from?
Idk but I'm good now no problems after I flushed and bleed the air out and yes one day it was bubbleing nothing is wrong with the car other then that took to the shop after done and got it checked its all good
We have a 2010 Chevy impala, V6. Over heating, and you can hear bubbling in the motor. The plastic container outside the radiator is full. Don't see water leaking .
Bubbling could be Exhaust Gases leaking into the cooling system and there is a simple test for it too (if it fails the head gasket is bad), but yet could just be air in the cooling system needing bleed out. The test can be picked up at auto parts store.
I tried it. Old School Chevy impala 68 was running hott. I pulled over on side of road after changing out thermostat and lettting cool off. Pull off radiator cap turned engine on let run for a few min. After it cooled down i added a hold bottle of antifreeze. Went to a auto zone added more antifreeze and car stopped running hot. Could have been that i rarely drive the car or was low to empty on antifreeze. Nut i think taking cap off let all the air get out that may have been trapped and adding freeze solved my problem. Thanks for the tips. Much Appreciated. Old school car are so much easier to figure out where the problems are.
My chevy impale gets hotit when I go up a hillhill or run my ac and I am putting antifreeze in every week what am I to do to fix this proproblem please help
1st locate the leak. May be a intake or head gasket or others like bad reservoir lid, water pump gasket, thermostat gasket, hose, radiator, heater core, freeze plugs, hard steel lines/pipping and internal engine cracks or gaskets . If you did not mention having to add coolant often I would of thought a catalytic converter clogged. A head gasket is likely to fail because of over-heating can cause the metal of the head casting to warp and the gasket leaks. This may happen if your over-heating too and it could happen on its own. Can test for exhaust in cooling system and a compression test or called the leak down test to find bad head gaskets and a pressure test on the cooling system to find all other leak sources
Hey i have an 07 impala it began to have a slow leak from the water pump a couple of days ago. I noticed before it overheated. Well sure as s*** the next day, overheats. Im living in my car at the moment and not driving unless i have too. I will be changing the water pump this weekend. Ive added kseal and it seemed to have stopped the leak, but im getting bubbling in the res. Tank ever since i added the sealant. Any advice?

When it overheated that day im not gonna lie i kinda panicked and grabbed a rag and threw it over the cap and when it released the cap broke in half sending the top half as well the spring into the air but the bottom half seems to be stuck in place

2005 impala overheating has plenty of water. Hissing & smoke comes from the the drivers side by the filter.
