ok dane i am a ford tech at the local dealership the answer to your question is simple the designers at ford are crack heads and cant figure out how to put the same stuff on every car

Because Bobby doesn't know what he's talking about, I figured I'd let you know. There is no low washer solvent indicator because the electrical system for that particular model is designed by Mazda, not Ford. Mazda opted not to put in that sensor as a cost save to the car.
Thanks Zach _ this makes more sense but still an oversight from a car company that has sold hundreds of thousands of these trucks in Canada. I ran out again last night on my way home in a snowstorm.
Yeah, I know. I hate driving to work at 4:00am in the winter and running out of fluid.
