08 GRAND PRIXS 3.8 ON COLD DAYS. IT'S HARD FOR HEAT TO COME
INSIDE CAR. LINES FROM HEATER CORE,TOPS HOT,BOTTOMS COLD.
WHEN DAY WARMS UP. WE GOT ALL KINDS OF HEAT.

Sounds like the coolant might be freezing preventing water from slowing through the core. Make sure you have adequate antifreeze in the cooling system.
