Transmissio shifting hard

My Pontiac just started shifting hard
when shifting to all gears but it only
happens every now and then. It is
happening more often. I live in
Phoenix and the weather is getting
hotter and the last thing I need is to
break down in this heat.

have your car scanned ill bet you have a code 1811 maximum shift adapts very common issue in the 4t65e transmissions its not going to set a check engine light unless you have other codes along with it
