When I go over 80mph my check engine
light comes on....  Why?

How long does it take the light to reset itself ? Could be the Oxygen sensor is going bad ... easy fix

The Why can be answered by scanning the trouble code that is being set, any of the auto parts stores will do a free scan for you. They also sell the scan tool (OBD - OBD III) for reading those codes as well.
