The ABS computer is separate from the engine computer (PCM). The ABS computer is cleared every time you shut off the ignition. You need a scan tool that will communicate with the ABS computer and get those codes with the engine running and the light on. When the ABS problem is fixed the light will stop staying on. You don't clear that computer, it clears itself. As for the PCM, some 08 models use CAN technology which is basically a faster "talking" computer. If you have an older scan tool or code reader it may not be able to communicate with the newer, faster technology. Try a newer scan tool that you know is CAN compliant. Hope that helps! Jim
