The other day I was getting into my car and I somehow bumped the headlight
control with my knee and knocked it out of its housing. Is there an easy way to
fix this? Can I take out the bolts bolts on the the underside of the steering
column to gain access to it?

See exploded dash view attached it looks like if you remove panel 40 below the steering wheel and screws 41 &42 then panel 43 will come off and you can get to the headlight switch.

Awesome. That's what I was thinking, but wanted to get some feedback before I started tearing things apart.

That seems reasonable but the panel is very hard to remove. Afraid to give it a good yank??

Take a rubber mallet and give it three or four firm strikes at the back edge of the panel. That gentle force will pop the three clips that are also holding the panel in place besides those two screws. It won’t take much, but three or four good firm strikes with the mallet will pop it right into your seat.
