My oil pressure light keeps coming on and the oil pressure gauge is fluctuating from 40psi to 0. I checked the oil pressure with a manual gauge and it read 40 psi even when the factory gauge reads 0. Any ideas?

Have you checked the oil level? If your oil level is full, it may be a sensor going bad. This is a common occurrence, and if you know how to change it, very quick to do. The oil sensor is on the top of the engine in the rear, and has a black lead wire connected to it. Best to reach it on the left side. Using a 1 1/16 deep socket wrench remove it, put in the new one, and connect the harness back up to it. If you go on line there are videos that will walk you through it. IF that is what is wrong.
