WHERE IS THE MANUAL KEY SLOT FOR TRUNK ON 2008 VETTE
mines right under the back by plate...you trying to get to the door wire cause your battery is dead??
Under the lip of the trunk next to the trunk opening button. Squat down and look and you will see it.
not haa..its above the license plate..they aint no button...cooomeooon bob..
Your C6 can be entered by using the provided key in your fob by using it in the lock above the rear license plate.

Under the lip of the truck - above the license plate = same area. There is a push button near the key slot that can be pressed to open the truck. It will not work if the battery is discharged as it is electrical.

Kelly, I am dissapointed in you. Owning a C-6 Corvette and not knowing about the trunk (hatch) opening button.
i have the z06. i dont like calling it a c-6 not at $90 thou....when icant open my trunk when car sit for 7-10 days battery dead.. so i pull the key out of the transmitter and stick it up in the key hole ,pop the trunk then grab the wire in the left rear to open the drivers door ..i know the button in the car and remote ...but theres no button in the outside rear of my z..just the key whole... heres a picture ..for the world to see..not a good one shows so numbers on the hood though
I knew you had a Z06, but I am surprised that there is no push button like the ordinary C6 has. I think you need to look again. It is an electrical button (about the size of a nickle) and it will not open the trunk if the battery is drained. I know all about the manual door opening devices. Also just traded my lowly C-6 for a Lincoln MKZ. No more Chevys in the garage, I am happy. LOL.

I can not find the key hole on truck of my 2008 corvette base 6.2 there is a black release button but no keyhole . and all the info on program ins. on programing remote says to use trunk keyhole ? can anyone help ?
