Dash and tail lights not working fuses are fine

have you checked all of the fuse boxes the one on the ends of the dash and the engine bay
Bulbs? Fuse you didn't know existed or maybe even a ground could be disconnected.
Yes, both fuse boxes were tested
Bulbs all work. Dash lights have been out over a year, tail lights is only days old. Head lights and brake lights work, day time running lights stopped working with tail lights 2 days ago.
The fuse box is NOT on the end of the dash. It up behind the flip-down compartment. Left of steering wheel
crumbob please don't post mis-information. There is a PDC - high power - Distribution center under the hood and another in cabin like I said, way up under the dash behind the little compartment. Please find out what you are talking about before misleading folks seeking help.
Hoppe - go to - https://ssl.toyota.com/owners/login -there is a lot of information there about you car. Have your VIN ready. Each headlight, left and right, hi-beam and low beam are each on different fuses, in addition to a circuit breaker in the PDC under hood. It will 'break' then quickly cool and re-set it's self, to prevent total loss of lights before fuse blows if there is a dead short. You may also have a faulty dimmer wheel potentiometer.
I named fort nut's response as helpful with the following comment. the website was not helpful for DIY types, but did register my car with Toyota, don't if good or bad yet. Removal of the dimmer light wheel switch showed evidence of over heating. It also sparked memory of changing brightness setting helping when problem first started. Will let u know if that works.
