Stereo system display not showing channels or connecting to Sirus

Asked by bkpie Oct 25, 2013 at 09:18 PM about the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 mitsubishi eclipse spyder. My car stereo system was working just fine and then one day the top display stopped working and I can no longer connect to sirus radio. The regular radio stations works but I cannot see what station I am on. The display only shows ECC  which I think means Error Communication Code but have no idea how to fix this. Any suggestions

The display up on the top of the dash? Clock/radio display.on top of dash is a 15 amp fuse in drivers side fuse panel. It also does the cig lighter. Number 16 I believe.

Also not sure about your model. Is it a stock infinity sound system? If so check the main control box under the passenger seat. They tend to get wet under there and go bad.

I will check the fuses again and replace them as they do not look blown, but that doesnt mean they arenet bad :) thanks for the response
