Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2008 Volkswagen passat and something keeps
draining my battery. I took it to the shop and they told me it
was the starter, but that wasnt the problen because i still
have the same issue, and the fan stays on after i shut the
car off for at least 10 sec. So i was wondering would that
have anything to do with my battery being drained
