Had to jump start my 08 Escalade battery last week and dashboard guages and light stopped working.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Guage hands just flash on and off but do not move when started or vehicle moving. Odometer screen is out too. Both 10amp fuses are good- one located on left side of dash and one under the hood with all the other major fuses.

Thanks for the quick answer. A relaltive that works at a GM dealership asked one of their techs; the tech said he thinks the instrument cluster is out and needs replacing which i know will be expensive. What is a fuseable link?

I notice that the factory battery don't last too long. Get a heavy duty Interstate battery, one that can handle all the power that these suv have.

I’m having the exact same problem from the exact issue that caused yours. Was it the circuit panel that was bad. If so how hard of a fix was it. Thanks

Try taking neg battery cable off for 10 mins and it flashes the computers reinstall and see if that does the trick. Worked for me.
