Oil pressure and lifter tapping.

Asked by Esky0818 Mar 14, 2020 at 11:05 AM about the 2008 Cadillac Escalade 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade 6.2 and the lifters start
tapping at higher speeds or lower speeds going up Hills.
The Oil pressure switch has been replaced. The tapping
comes and goes. I was told its holding pressure at about
40 by dealer,  but I'm not sure if it was checked while
driving. Mileage is about 188500. Help!!!
