Vacuum Line

It's a battery vent tube, not a vacuum line. Since the battery is now in the passenger cabin, it has to be vented. The OEM battery likely had a hole that the tube plugged into, then the vent line ran out the wheel well. Some non-OEM batteries do not have the vent hole, so the tube is not needed.
Thanks to both of you. Replacement battery had the vent hole and easily hooked up the vent line.
