Strange Honking

I have a 2008 Toyota Solara Convertible.  At random times, it sounds the horn with short, very quick honks.  Usually about eight honks within one second.   Most recently at 2:45 AM, two days in a row.  The car is off, no lights on, no one around.  Any suggestions?

There is an alarm system, but this does not match the regular protocol.

If you sure all the doors hood trunk are truly shut and there isn't a light on (package,trunk etc.) could be a faulty ground on the alarm system with is activated by a passing rodent, cat, raccoon,bear,?!? roaming around your car; especially as it hits at the same time of day . Good Luck on this let us know how it works out.
