how good is the ford explorer eddie bauer

eddie bauers are nice, i dont know what year your referring to though. i had a 93 explorer sport put 212,000 miles on it with no problem at all, even drove it in water up to mid engine and started right in the water, and my dad has a 03 explorer xlt only 60 some thousand miles but he never had a problem either so in my opinion its worth it, i think explorers are built very well, just some happen to have recalls on them.

i work on exploders all the time and the older ones with the 5.0L h.o. engine will run forever but the rest of the truck is built like shit. The new ones with the 4.0 or 4.6L engines are even worse. If you decide to buy one be prepared to spend close to $2000 per year to maintain it. take the advice of a proffesional on this one if you want an SUV that big just buy a gmc yukon or chev tahoe of the same year with the 5.3L engine. NOT FORD OR DODGE. and no i'm not some gm brainwashed idiot, but that is the best large SUV money can buy.
the '08 Ford Explorer Eddie Bower edition is pretty sweet. the explorer is very trust worthy and can last a long time with pleeeeeeeeentty of use in those years. being that its a bauer edition means its got the bauer paint job, leather seats that may or may not be heated, a sweet interior, smooth accents. all over its a very stylish SUV with some goods in it. handles off road fairly well. NO BIG ROCKS its not a hummer, but it will handle mud, snow, ice and grass pretty well
