ac does not work properly

ac works normal at high fan but blows thru defrost when lowering fan speed

Theres a vacuum module that pulls the diverter or blend gate open under the dash by the ac/heater system. Check to see if it's getting vacuum and if it is, replace the module. It's a round object with a hose attached to it on one end and a linkage on the other end.
