The liftgate won't lock.

I can't get the latch to catch to the liftgate. It's happened 4 times and I've been able to get it to lock, but now it won't. Any advise on how to fix this?

inspect for "crud" impeding movement....if there ain't none there would take to the catch with ball-peen and a chisel to pull it closer~

usually just needs oil in the right places, or latch adjustment of anchor
