Would security not reset stop car from starting

Not battery, starter, alternator. Would
immobilizer keep it from starting

Absolutely. The best course of action is to have it towed to your local Toyota Dealer for repairs. Jim

Yes it can. Have you tried the reset procedure listed in the owners manual? If you have and it did not reset then your unfortunately stuck with a dealer reset.

Disconnect the battery. Wait about 30 min and then turn on the head lights to drain the capacitor. Reconnect the batt and it will run a little rough until you put about 200 mis on it.
