Creaking noise

Nothing to do with your key, are you moving around in there? Suspension creaking? Otherwise I was going to say dried up ball joints or bushings in need of grease.
Otherwise again here, maybe something in the steering column binding?
The sounds feels like something is trying to turn but is being stuck. It is coming from under the dashboard. I first thought it was the CD player, but after turning it off the sounds is still there. Tried turning off the AC but, it is still there.
The only thing I can think of under the dash that possibly moves is the AC/heat/cold air vent adjusting module, this adjust the vents, (defrost, center vents, floor) & controls air temp.
Does the blower motor push air threw all the vents? Do you have air flow? Blower motor making noise?
Yes the AC or heater blower is fine. I removed it and checked it. What adjust the vent... That sounds like what it is is. Where is that located, is it easy to get to? I feel like that is what it is. Maybe something is blocking it. I have tried to start the engine during the noise and the light that goes on when the front shield is getting cleaned, blinks until the noise stop.
The thing is called an AC Actuator, it will have electrical plug attached to it, usually under dash up from the floor heat vent. I am not a Toyota guy to tell you where exactly were it is. It would be mounted on the duck work going down to the heat vent. Best guess on that sorry. It operates the different doors that direct air flow, sometimes the doors hang up causing that little motor to run because it didn't get to its stop. Hope this helps, maybe look on line.
Thanks I will pursue my research online for that module. Thank you again.
