The oil debate is as controversial as the chicken and the egg! The knock against Pennzoil was that it contained "wax" and if left in too long it would turn to sludge in the engine! If it is all that you have it will be ok but dont go over 7500 miles or one year in time before changing! Jammblues and I have the same preference Valvoline or Castrol! The secret to all fluids is to change it once it becomes contaminated by a visual inspection ( except diesel oil) the oil will be clear when new, over time it turns brown-clear then dark and opaque that is when you change it or TIME becomes the issue because oil absorbs water and collects dust! So either miles or time are your reference point! Parafin is the wax element to avoid! If this was helpful please click my helpful button! Thank you
