Yes, we need to know that...what engine. But what I found is the 2008 PT- C Base has a 2.4L, but could be some other... and is an interference engine and almost certainly you will need top end re-built. Even just a few turns of engine will collide valves with pistons, and at 40 you might, just might get away with heads only. What mileage is on the car?
