I have a 2008 PT Cruiser and had a water pump kit put on due to the water pump dripping and I paid $1,200 I have a 128000 miles on it and I have had the car for 5 years should the car be making noise

I took it to Firestone and I'm going to return it tomorrow but they said it was normal for it to be making noise after having the water pump put on because of the Belt being so tight and there was nothing wrong with the belt but they said you have to change the belt when you do the water pump

Ask the clowns there why they didn't change the serpentine belt, belt tensioner, and all idler pulleys! I'm so sick and tired of FOOLS working in this Service Sector....
