AC Not Working on 2008 Chevy Cobalt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
So my 2008 Chevy Cobalt is having an air conditioning problem. It doesn't work. Changed the blower motor & resistor, both relays, & all fuses related to AC. Still nothing. Got any ideas? Also might be important to note: my air bag sensor says it needs service and the tire sensors keep telling me to check the pressure (there's nothing wrong with the tires). Could this all be an electrical problem? If so, how much would it be to repair or is it not worth it?

Your TPS batteries are probably dead. The AC problem could be low refrigerant level.

Check you coolant temp on the dash display. If it reads dashes and no numbers your coolant temp sensor may be malfunctioning. This condition prevents the ac from working. Easy to change. Sensor. Drivers side of engine on back side.
Im having the exact same problem did you ever find a fix?
I'm having the same problem. I changed out the sensor and still no fix. The temp gauge started working and I had AC for awhile. The the temp gauge quit working and no AC
I wiggled the temp sensor wire once and it worked for about 5 minutes then quit. Wiggled it again and again and still no AC.

Is there an actual resolution answer? The coolant still reads on dash, I've changed the sensor, the freeon had been charged. What else can cause the cold air to stop? Also what are TPS BATTERIES?
It started working for me when I checked every single fuse. It happened again later and the blower motor wiring was messed up so I had to replace it.
