I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt . Recently having trans
problem. Shifting hard into gear. Took it to dealer
said it was BCM. Still not fixed. At 55 running
3000rpm. And gas mpg are horrid. Help please

Ty!!!! I figured it would be the end. Seems more trouble with each passing day.

I know a lot of people have had this issue and have resolved it buy un plugging the bcm and cleaning the connections with some qd electric cleaner and plugging it back in. The bcm is accessed on the passenger side of the center console toward the front the panel just pops off. While that didn't fix my issue, I resolved my shifting issues for about 5 dollars once I figured out what was wrong.
