Aternator for 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer 2LT Model

What is the best amperage alternator to use on a 2008  Chevrolet   Trailblazer
2LT model, ?  the bearings are making a noise on my current one, also is a
rebuilt one ok to use  ?

Rebuilt should be fine, although I prefer new. For the I6 engine, the bottom bolt on our platform can be a pain. Take your time, it's ok to gently bend the AC line out of the way while getting an extension in there. Ugga duggaa will be your friend here with these long bolts. On a side note, I like to remove the battery and battery tray, to make lots of room, but if you do, replace your thermostat too, it's right there.

Most rebuilt alternators are crap. If you can find a quality one it will be as good as new.

Replace the alternator with the same amperage as the old one. A Delco alternator will be good. Disconnect the negative battery cable before you start the job. Hope that helps! Jim
