Wow, that's a pretty broad question. It depends on mileage, condition, your maintenance records, if you have any, we're you the original owner, etc. Do you see where I'm going with this? Why don't you look this up in Kelly Blue Book and see for yourself. Finally, it boils down to the right buyer and what someone is willing to pay. Finally, why do you really want to sell the car? I can tell you that in almost all cases it's less than purchasing a new or late model one unless you just have to have newer technology? Or, your car has so many miles or problems and you just can't handle it anymore. Hope that helps. The newer car in sales tax alone will probably be more than the cost for repairs. This plus depreciation is a great reason for keeping an older car for a while. Your 2008 is not that old, is it really in that bad of shape? And, older cars, once paid for only cost about $1,500 or less to maintain each year in repairs, not including maintenance which all cars need.
