cooling fan

I have a 2008 g6 gt. the fan runs constantly. It is kind of loud and sounds like an atv The dealer told me this is normal ? Am I getting the smoke blown up ?

You better get a better fan because the smoke the dealer is blowing at you is really thick, LOL. No fans should run constantly ever. Which fan are you referring to? Dash blower or cooling fan under the hood?

sorry it took so long to get back.Its the cooling fan, And it driving my wife crazy. Thanks for the input TramsAm77

LOL no biggie. Its probably going to be a bad sending unit or sensor for the fan(s). That or a broken/corroded wire(s).
