If the tire pressure warning light comes on Be sure to observe the following precautions. Failure to do so could cause loss of vehicle control and result in death or serious injury. l Stop your vehicle in a safe place as soon as possible. Adjust the tire inflation pressure immediately. l If the tire pressure warning light comes on even after tire inflation pres- sure adjustment, it is pr obable that you have a flat tire. Check the tires. If the tire is flat, change to the spare tire and have the flat tire repaired by the nearest Toyota dealer. l Avoid abrupt maneuvering and braking. If the vehicle tires deteriorate, you could lose control of the steering wheel or the brakes. n If a blowout or sudden air leakage should occur The tire pressure warning syste m may not activate immediately
The above is copied and pasted from owners manual. But..Short answer, no instructions on re set. Now most Toyotas have a button directly under the steering wheel.Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch to IGNITION ON mode (vehicles with smart key sy stem) or the engine switch to the “ON” position (vehicles without smart key system). Push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the tire pressure warning light blinks slowly 3 times ......The button is right under the steering wheel.
first off fordnut, I believe I wrote I had all new tires put on and the lite came on, my husband checked them all and they are all good but the lite won't go off and there is NO button under the steering wheel. that is why I am asking if there is one. I don' t have the smart key system so maybe there isn't a reset either. guess it will have to stay on.
Sharon, did you find the reset button? We have a 2009 and can't find ours neither. I've looked under the dash on both the drivers and passenger side and behind the glove box and the lower left drivers side panel where the fuses are. Can't seem to find a button anywhere.
Hello, did you find the reset button ?
Hello hey I have same problem , with my 2009 , I just put new tires on it ... well it’s not big deal actually, when I put new tires on it so I break the sensor pressure tires , and that’s what it make the light won’t go off , i did it at Walmart so I had 50 $ discount for it they break it , right now I’m checking to buy it online , it cost around 20 to 30 $ each .. the best is to make sure it cone programmed so u have just to place it . And there is only one button , same the one for the oil , but when it’s the sensor it won’t go off , and make sure to figure out witch one is defective
I have the same problem in my Yaris 2008. I had a flat tire. It was repaired and since that date, the light continues on. I didn't find a button under the dash to reset it.

I think it is just below the knee level trim panel just above the gas pedal.
Found a button right under the steering, in the center, don't see it unless turn the sterring to the side, so the bottom where it rests shows, horizontally.
