Malibu 2008

Asked by Mom2323 Sep 21, 2018 at 07:56 AM about the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu 1LT FWD

Question type: General

My daughter has a 2008 Chevy Malibu. It runs
perfectly there's no engine lights on or anything but
from time to time either when she is driving or if
she pulls into a parking spot it will just die and
start right back up without hesitation. Had the
battery checked and the alternator all is good it
does not sputter or spit so I know it's not the fuel
pump. What else could it be that we should check?

Check the fuel pressure regulator by pulling the vacuum line. If there's fuel in the line replace regulator if that's good have the fuel injectors cleaned
