Increases when accelerator is pressed. Alternator?

Possibly or belt or idler pulley. Use a vacuum cleaner extension or piece of PVC pipe. With engine idling carefully position one end of pipe in and around the pulleys and belts with the other end to your ear. When the noise gets to it loudest you have found your issue. Use caution not to get it caught in any moving parts.
