Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 honda accord ex v6. I washed the car myself and when i drove it
about an hour later, almost all the dash warning lights came on, the side mirrors
started going crazy, a crackling sound from the speakers, and the car would not
accelerate past 20 mph.  i dont know what to do. im afraid to even try and drive
it cuz of all the warning lights

did you just wash the exterior or the engine bay? If you washed the engine bay you got water in the electrical connectors or fuse box.

Hi thank you for responding to my question! I washed the exterior only. The car was perfectly fine before i drenched it washing it with a thing used to clean rv's. Can u tell me where to begin as far as starting to fix it? Thank you so much in advance for any help you can give me :)

You need to dry out the engine bay. Apparently you got water in the electronics. I would open the hood and park it out in the sun.

Ok, will do. One last thing, after it dries out and nothing else turned out to be wrong with it, will the lights just not come back on or will i have to reset something? Forgive me if that's a stupid question as I am not experienced in auto mechanics, lol. Thank you once again for your help!
