My 2008 Honda Accord Ex runs rough and misses
when you fist start it and the check engine light is
flashing.

The codes need to be read , the code tells you where the problem is not what to replace you still have to figure that out , the clerk at auto zoo is not a technician so replacing a part recommended may or may not help , use only honda oem parts .

Running rough on initial start up usually means that there is a fuel flooding problem or an early warning of a blown headgasket.
