How can I increase engine performance

With a lot of money you could get some more power but I would look at the new Fords with the 365 HP ecoboost turbo engine if power is what you want.

Chips are a complete waste of money. If you want to get a small amount of extra power look into a performance exhaust by Borla and a cold air intake from K&N,
