Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Toyota dealers do not appear to be offering leases for the 2008 Prius. I have seen the car being leased in other states.

Why would anyone want a prius... You do realize that it's not worth it. Both fuel efficiency wise and environmentally. Hybrids take quite a while to break even with your initial investment. And the batteries used in the prius are not only pricey but do more harm to the environment than an SUV. Trust me, if you want fuel efficiency and a good car, get a Chevy Cobalt XFE. 36 MPG, only $14k. A prius is not worth it, no matter what way you look at it.
