I have an 08 infiniti g35 awd everytime i turn it on it
seems like it wants to die and when im at a stop
light the rpms go up and down slowly what could it
be?

Clean the MAF sensor. It’s an easy dyi. There’s YouTube videos or I’m sure it’s under $50 at a mechanic. Took me a half hour and I’m not very mechanical. The car needs an idle relearn. Hard: do the idle relearn procedure Easy: disconnect negative battery terminal for 5 min It’ll take a few days for it to remap the idle but it should work. Mine would die immediately at start without hitting the gas. After a few days, good as new. Btw. U might want to clean the intake at same time. I didn’t but I was told it’s a good idea. I’ve been trouble free (that problem) over a year Good luck
