hi I just picked the car up and went to go get it smoged and they told me my check engine light is not working and the cats have bin removed so I can fix that problem not a big deal but how would I figure out what they did to disconnect the engine light

You bought a pig. Hopefully this is all they did to the car but I think this is going to cost you a lot. If there is any chance I would try to get my money back. What state are you in?
