Replacing coolant on the modern cars is not as simple as on the old cars- like mentioned above, air can enter the system and get trapped behind the thermostat, causing it to stay closed- or other things depending on the car- and why do you think you need to warm your engine for 10 minutes? Unnecessary, and wasteful-

Its just something i always did you ever got on a boat with a diesel engine in the winter and just started it up and took off wats gonna happen your gonna crack the heads its just a saftey percussion uk and i changed the cap and bleed the system about a 1,000 times and finally got most of the air out and i also had a cracked terminal on the negative side and it wasnt allowing my fans to kick on at full speed so hopefully this information can help somebody else i just have to say it is a long and aggervating process i been working on it since i posted this
