Adding the 'info' option??

I've got a button on my dash that has ':00' on it. It's where the INFO option would be if I had it. I'm wondering if I can have that added to the car? Can I do it myself or would I need to take it back to the dealer? Any ideas how much something like that would run me? I only bought the car less than a month ago.

What Exact model do you have?? if you don't have the Grand Touring model then you cant get it unless you buy alot of new electronics which would cost thousands!
I have the i touring. The LCD screen is equipped with all the functions, you can see them on the screen. What other electronics would I need?
Its a common LCD scree every Mazda 6 has the same one but the "brain" and wiring are different, you would have to get a new brain and rewire the dash.. and even then if you have the I touring you would have to find a grand touring with a I4 engine because some of the computer control for the on board computer goes along with the engine management i believe... Its been a while.. i had a Mazda6 5 door S. i wanted the function too but it was not doable for under 5 or 6 grand.. Best bet is the homelink mirror.. about 150 - 250 but it does a compass and autodim etc..
