What is this I found in the bottom of my oil pan

Happened 2008 Mazdaspeed3 that I'm replacing the oil pan on and when I took
the pan off I found a like set pin type thing in the bottom of the pan and I don't
know where it goes or what it's for it fits in the back of one of the round things
on the pump I think it is

Is it magnetic ? If it's not you should probably find it's home before you close things up

It looks like a cam button or part of the oil pressure relief valve on the oil pump. I agree with beatupchevy, find where it went before putting it back together, an engine rebuilder or even the dealer parts department might be able to help.
