Did you deal with other ignition components like the spark plugs and coils? Is the CEL on?
My mechanic had said there was a misfire on cylinder 1 and 4 which caused injector 4 to go out as well.. supposedly all this happened because the computer wasnt working right in the first place..and they also said when they checked the spark plugs they found some type of liquid on them?? I need help
Liquid on the plugs. Oil or anti-freeze? There is no relationship from the injectors to the spark plugs and there is no way I know of that a misfire could make an injector go bad.
Oil..and they said there was a green wire from the computer that didnt have ground and thats what caused the injector to go bad..sorry for the misinformation
If they fixed the ground then you can cross that off your list. If you have oil on the plugs then your engine probably has high miles and is using oil. If they install hotter plugs then the oil should burn off and not foul the plugs which could get you a few more miles out of the engine. How many Miles on the engine?
