No engine lights on....car has 100k on it and is kept immaculate...auto lock-unlock-panic alarm.......everything that car came with works except autostart!! Apparently there are resistors and diodes in circuit that checks door locks and such before autostart will engage, maybe as simple as one of the door switches are not showing a closed circuit...what do you think???? I bought my 08 300C. After owning it for a few weeks I realized the remote supported auto start. I asked a dealer if my car had it. He checked vin and it did. They ended up reflashing my pc. One of the sensors were outta whack. Can happen just by slamming hood. Ask dealer. Usually a reflash works. I paid $160 Canadian.

The engine can be started two consecutive times (two 15-minute cycles) with the RKE transmitter. However, the ignition switch must be cycled to the ON position WITH THE KEY before you can repeat the start sequence for a third cycle. So, you can ONLY remote start the car two-times, thereafter you will have to get into the car and start the car with the key BEFORE the remote start will reset and become available.
