What brand of brake pads does a 2008 Mitsubishi outlander use?

their both trying to rip you off !!! and there's no set brand to use,,, use the ones you think are the best,,, technically they come with a certain brand from the factory but that doesn't mean that's what they require though, Bendix would be fine to use if that's what you want to use, are these prices for the labor as well or just the pads? either way with or without the labor its a total rip off from either place,, go somewhere like Midas or somewhere reputable. and firestone is running a 100 dollar per axle special which includes a 12 month warrantee and included rotor resurfacing as well,, theres probably even better deals than that out there if you look but im not in your area so I cant know,,, mainly was just using this as an example that those places were trying to jack you is all, the 2nd place not so much I guess if they were going to install them as well as just sayin 245 for the pads alone, but were they resurfacing your rotors? heres a good tip,, if any place says you need new anything tell them you want to see your parts before they do anything to make sure it needs it and then request your parts after they do the work to insure that they actually did the work. might sound overkill or asinine, but you would be surprise how many jobs are charged for that never even get done, true story, an no offense but if your a woman they will really try to get over on you

advace also had brakes for 30 to 50 bucks per axle ( 60-120 all four wheels)

Hello Yodaman I have 2005 Endeavor and just this past summer i have installed rear Bendix brakes. I advised to turn rotors. ( i did) So far so good after 4.500 miles. Here in Canada prices are bit different, but i paid around $ 50.00 for set. Hope this will help.

not a problem,,, might wanna take firestone up on that special over that other shop though, seeing as they do an included rotor resurfacing for free, but what ever ya do don't go to that stealership lol that is just flippin outrageous

If you know anything about mechanics, you can do this yourself for about $40.00. It does not take many tools and is easy to do. It would take you longer to jack the car up than change the front pads. There are only a couple of bolts holding the calipers on. You will need a C-clamp to press the piston in to allow it to go over the disc with new pads. Yes you are getting ripped off,
