Does not go above 2000rpm

Driving at 70mph on the motorway, the car will not go
above 2000rpm from 70mph
The car will slowly reach 100mph and reach 2500 rpm
max. My vehicle is c320 cdi sports w204 model. This
happens sometimes and service A is overdue by 5 days.

If you floor it does the transmission down shift and the revs go up? . Full throttle shifts should be close to 6,000 rpm. What you have described is a high gear ratio.
@ F_O_R, no it dont down shift. Its almost like its on limp mode. The gears aint slipping, no hiss on the turbo. It just doesnt go above 2500rpm. I pulled over twice, to let it rest on the 3rd rest the car was performing as normal.
I would have a transmission shop diagnose it. When you say no turbo hiss it could mean the turbo is seized up.
