Does American Mercedes clk350 parts fit the Japanese model

This is a WAG, but things related to left hand/ right hand driving won't work, but sheet metal, lighting and many interior parts should be interchangeable. There are many more engines available in Europe and Japan and anything emissions related will probably be different. Engine numbers will tell all for engine parts. I've seen both left hand/right hand advertised for sale here: https://www.tc-v.com/used_car/mercedes-benz/clk-class/25683826/?isNew=1 As with any MB part, an accurate part number will help decide.
