2008 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 ltre has gone into limp mode. The dashboard warning light that are on are the red flashing lightning bolt, the check engine light and skid indicator. when diagnostic is done the error code is P0340 which is the cranckshaft position sensor which I have replaced. I have also replaced the ETC with no results. Any ideas?

I’m having the same problem. Did u figure out your problem
The lightning bolt may be the electronic throttle control.
Did anyone get it fixed my 04 just did the same thing
My 07 1500 is doing the same thing is there an answer yet
My 2008 1500 5.7 jus went into limp mode and I can't find any answers either.
And idk if it's the same code but ik that the cams in the 5.7 will wear a flat spot on them and throw that code. Might need a new cam
There can be a number of reasons for it going into limp mode. My advice is start small. Unless you're lucky enough to have a CEL and a code to go off of. Mine didnt. It would just go into limp mode. First try cleaning the throttle body really good theres a little pin hole in the bottom of the throttle body and if it clogs you will have problems. Check your battery voltage and make sure you dont have a collapsed cell or bad battery. These two simple fixes corrected my problem. Best of luck!
