Rear passenger window does not go up, regulator/ motor works ok.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello!
I have an issue with my rear window, goes down from its own switch and
master but it does not go up from neither.  Opened the door panel to at least
close the window.  It is not the window regulator nor the motor, tested with a
power probe and works fine, also works manually, but not from the switches.
The other 3 windows work perfectly.  Thought it could be the switch, but it's
not working from the main master switch neither. Any clue? Please help.

Hey did you figure out what was the issue with your window not rolling up? I have the exact same issue.. I hear power and it will roll down but not up. Currently open a couple inches. Checked for broken wires but didn't find anything. Any suggestions?

No I did not i remove the motor and I put current in it and works perfectly and I change the polarity and motor rotate in other direction but when I install the motor in the housing and engaged to the gear in the housing it goes just in one direction ( down) i changed the switch too but does not work in up direction and i gave up for now. the only think left and I did not check is wire or maybe there is a micro switch some where to tell the stepper motor when it is in the end of travel if there is one somewhere I have to fine it and when the window in down manually click it to reverse the direction ( this is just a guess) I will try it again when weather get better it is cold here in Canada now.

Interestingly, mine is doing the same thing...can't believe this wasn't a recall issue.
