2008 jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L diesel starting/ not starting in winter not plugged into block heater

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel and didn't plug in my block heater last night.
The temperature got down to -35 and now my truck won't start. It's supposed to warmup
to -10 today so my question is will it start as it gets warmer? And no I didn't kill the
battery on the jeep. I only attempted starting it 2 times this morning

Get the block heater plugged in and put a trickle charger on your battery if you have one for a few hours...you should be fine. You are wise to not keep repeatedly trying to start it ..that will wear down the battery, shorten it's life.
